What was once a spare room in a basement was transformed into one of a kind custom office in this creative project. The work-from-home experience is elevated in this private, soundproof space with a luxurious heated tile floor.  The walls feature built-in shadow boxes flush with the wall, including a filing cabinet drawer. An additional freestanding cabinet with LED lighting and black glass was designed to showcase a sculpture. The reading section of the room, with a signature oak panel ceiling and black glass inset, includes a built-in collector’s cabinet and a bookcase suspended from the ceiling on a sliding track. The office doubles as a spare room with a coordinating custom-built Murphy bed with leather inset panels.

The cabinetry and furniture were hand-crafted at our Wantage, New Jersey, woodworking shop. All pieces were constructed from rift white oak.
